Our Story
Hi, we are Carina and Mick, the creative minds behind Igloo Memories! Founded in May 2021, our journey began with a simple need: finding fun and exciting birthday activities for our three winter-born children. Having had their birthdays in the wintertime for many years now, we have always found it difficult to find something for them to do which is fun and exciting during the colder, darker, months.
The Solution
We wanted to create opportunities for children like ours to explore and enjoy their special days without having to be outside. So with Carina's background in education and early years and Mick's expertise being an electrician, we embarked on a mission to create magical party experiences for children and adults alike - without stepping out into the cold!
Our Beginnings
Starting small, with just igloos in 2021, we soon realised the potential to bring joy to the community. What began as a passion project for our own family evolved into a full-fledged business, driven by a love for creating unforgettable memories. From humble beginnings working out of a trailer to now operating from our own warehouse, we take pride in every setup we create.
Whether it's a birthday bash, communion, or any other special event, we always ensure every detail is perfect, leaving our clients delighted and eager to share the joy!
